Both teams went on the attack, having a number of scoring opportunities. It would be Mosta who would take the lead on the 28th minute. Off a corner by Ricardino, Lukas Duriska's shot on goal was blocked by goalkeeper Julian Azzopardi and off the rebound Manolito Micallef's powerful shot ended at the back of the net. Mosta did not take long to double their score as just after a minute it was 2-0. Bojan Kalevic powerful shot left no chance for goalkeeper Julian Azzopardi. Naxxar managed to reduce Mosta's lead five minutes into the second half. Off a freekick by Pablo Doffo, Thiago Lopez de Souza's precise header left no chance for goalkeeper Omar Borg. Naxxar were back in the game after they equalised on the 55th minute. Ousseni Zongo served Daren Falzon who then had his shot hit the woodwork before it ended up at the back of the net. Both sides pressed to take the lead and Mosta managed to make it 3-2 on the 68th minute. Off a throw-in, Ryan Grech's powerful shot from a long distance left no chance for Julian Fenech. Mosta made sure they collected all three points when they made it 4-2 on the 90th minute. Bojan Kaljevic's cross was intercepted by Ricardo Faria Silva who then had his shot beat the Naxxar goalkeeper. Bojan Kaljevic was voted BOV Player of the Match. Vittoriosa Stars ...... 1 Rabat Ajax ............. 0 Vittoriosa Stars managed to defeat Rabat Ajax 1-0 to make it two victories in a row. On the 9th minute, Vittoriosa would score the goal that would give them all three points. Marcelo Pereira served Oscar Guerrero who then had his shot from close range beat goalkeeper Pavle Velimirovic. Marcelo Pereira was voted BOV Player of the Match. Qormi .................... 1 Hibernians ............. 4 BOV Premier League leaders maintained their winning streak after they defeated Qormi 4-1.
