Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art, Jagodina (MNMA) was founded in 1960. MNMA researches, collects, keeps and protects the works of original self-taught artists from all over the world. International MNMA Art Collection counts over 2500 works of Naive, Art-brut and Outsider Art. UNTIL DECEMBER 19 First-time solo exhibition Exhibition at Malta Society of Arts, Palazzo de la Salle, Republic Street, Valletta featuring works by Aaron Bezzina, Gabriel Buttigieg, Kertin Arnemann, Sam Falzon and Samuel Sultana. FILM SCREENINGS NOVEMBER 19-23 German Film Festival Film festival of eight German films held at St James Cavalier, Valletta with a special double-screening of films by Wim Wenders at the German-Maltese Circle, Messina Palace, St Christopher's Street Valletta on November 22 from 17:00. All films will be screened in German with subtitles in English. Tickets are at €3, except for the children's film Sputnik (€2) and the Wim Wenders Classic film night, which is complimentary. NOVEMBER 25 Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women Screening of the Spanish film Take my Eyes (2003) at 67, Strait Street, Valletta at 18:30. Organised by the 'Womanity' group in conjunction with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The screening will be followed by a short presentation and discussion on domestic violence in Malta. UNTIL NOVEMBER 30 European Film Festival 12th edition of the European Film Festival at Dar l-Ewropa, 254, St Paul's Street, Valletta organised by the European Commission Representation in Malta in collaboration with embassies of EU Member States in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Malta's EU Membership. Films are screened without interval and start at 18:30 followed by light refreshments. Entrance is free but donations in aid of Hospice Malta are welcome. Seats on a first come first served basis. COMICS CONVENTION NOVEMBER 29, 30 Malta Comic Con Annual comics convention organised by Wicked Comics at St James Cavalier, Valletta. Visitors will be able to meet distinguished comic book creators from Europe and America, as well as purchase comics from both creators and dealers. The convention will also feature a cosplay and gaming element. The sixth edition of this popular multi- media event will be held at St James Cavalier, Valletta on November 29 (10:00-18:00) and 30 (11:00-19:00).
