Bookings: http:// booking.teatrumanoel.com.mt/. EXHIBITIONS UNTIL MAY 18 The Sketchbook Collective art exhibition at Bir Mula Heritage Museum, Bormla. Featuring both finished works and works in progress from the artists sketchbook. Featuring works by Susan Waitt (painter), Sandra Gea (painter), Caroline Said Lawrence (painter), Carima Achokwu (stone sculptures), Arwa Buchieri (painter), Abi Macleod-Clark (mosaic sculptures) and Aimee Fenech (poetry). MAY 18-AUGUST 15 Obsidio Melitae Exhibition of historical documents pertaining to the Great Siege of Malta at the National Library, Valletta. The main focus of the display will be the original prints by Matteo Perez d'Aleccio depicting the highlights of the siege. Other interesting documents include original letters of congratulation from European sovereigns sent to Grand Master Jean de Valette after the lifting of the siege. On view are also published contemporary accounts of the siege, including the 1567 and 1568 editions of Francesco Balbi da Correggio's day-to-day diary. Modern scholarly studies of the 1565 event will also feature in the display. Opening hours are Monday to Friday between 08:15 and 17:00 and on Saturdays between 08:15 and 13:00; and between June 16 and August 16 from Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 13:00. MAY 29-31 Il-Marid Immaġinarju Dù Theatre is back with Il-Marid Immaġinarju, a comedy by Moliere at City Theatre, Old Bakery Street, Valletta at 20:00. WHAT'S ON WHAT'S ON TODAY Frott il-Bidwi Mgarri Malta's agricultural hub, Żebbiegħ, will once again host its annual agricultural event 'Frott il-Bidwi Mġarri' on in the vicinity of Saint Anne's Church, from 08:30 to 19:00. Freshly picked seasonal fruits and a wide variety of local fresh vegetables will be on sale all day. Other products for sale will be honey, olive oil, cheeselets and a large variety of other agri-products and pot plants. Beverages and typical Maltese food will also be available all day. Also including family- friendly events like the open-air farm animal exhibition and donkey rides which attract adults and children alike. In Guardia Parade Historical re-enactment at Fort St Elmo, Valletta at 11:00. During the re-enactment, of the fort's garrison - some 55 re- enactors in all - are kitted-out in their uniforms to perform their military drill to demonstrate to the Grand Bailiff its state of readiness. Entrance is at €7 and €3. Intimacy in Music Lumia Flute Quartet will be performing at Tal Pilar Church, Valletta at 11:30. Proceeds from RIDT Lunchtime Concert Series will go towards research activities within the University, through RIDT. No booking is required. Blurred Boundaries First edition of a theatre festival by students of the Theatre Studies Department at the University of Malta at MITP Theatre, Valletta at 20:00 and 19:30 on respective nights. Devised entirely by the students themselves and coordinated by Dr Stefan Aquilina, the festival will present the audience with five diverse pieces, ranging from physical theatre, text-based, shadow puppetry, and much more.
