The Double Handed race is a tough race, the success of which depends on making use of the same skills as a fully crewed boat but all the action is shared between two people. In this case, syn- ergy between the two crew members is imperative for a successful race. The PV-IES Double Handed Round Malta Race will take place on Satur- day 4th June and first warning signal is scheduled to take place at 8:55am. The course will see crews start the race from Marsamxett Harbour setting sail round Malta to the finish back in Mar- samxett Harbour. If the race wasn't challenging enough, a time limit has been set to 00:00hrs on Sunday 5th June. "We are very proud to be supporting the Royal Malta Yacht Club with our marine and residential solar panels and look forward to see the outcome of this race – we think there will be some very hard fought racing in the process by crews v ying for some of the exciting prizes that are in store for them" said Janice Borg, Marketing Executive, Is- land Engineering Services. A Prize Giving evening will take place on Sunday 5th June at the Royal Malta Yacht Club. More information on the PV-IES Double Handed Round Malta Race can be found on www. rmyc.org or via the Club Secretariat on +356 21 333 109.
