The lunchtime are fund raising events for the Franciscan Church, which is undergoing an extensive restoration project. NOVEMBER 11 Dvorak & Elgar Concert by Armenian cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan held at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 20:00. He will be performing Dvorak's Cello Concerto under the direction of acclaimed conductor Michalis Economou. The conductor's own composition 'Di-ichon', which follows, was re-arranged especially for this concert and is inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. NOVEMBER 12 Mozart's Requiem Choral and orchestral concert of Mozart's Requiem held at Divine Mercy Sanctuary, Naxxar at 19:00. Featuring soloists Rosabelle Bianchi (soprano); Claire Massa (mezzo-soprano); Charles Vincenti (tenor); Albert Buttigieg (bass), under the direction of orchestra leader James Zammit, and director Hugo Agius Muscat and with organist Elisabeth Conrad. Admission free is free – there will be a collection in aid of the Divine Mercy Sanctuary.
