46 Events maltatoday, SUNDAY, 13 NOVEMBER 2016 GS Superstore rebrands to Valyou, new Mellieha opening After a number of years provid- ing a wide variety of food and household products and great customer service to the Maltese community, the iconic GS super- store brand is changing its name to Valyou Supermarket. The change goes beyond just the name and the branding. The company is completely reinvent- ing itself around the new brand promise of providing added val- ue to each and every customer through the product offering and their experience. In addition, an- other Valyou Supermarket will be opening shortly in Mellieha (the former Belleview site). As part of the rebranding ex- ercise, all elements of the brand experience of the supermarket will be changing, including new exterior and instore store sig- nage, new and improved product offering and a totally new store design that will make customers the centre of the whole experi- ence. The newly designed stores will be organised by category to help simplif y the shopping expe- rience and offer more space for the customers. The redefined in- store experience will also feature a consumer-centric category as- sortment and will offer a feel at home warm atmosphere, giv- ing customers the much needed added value. "Consumers nowadays have so much choice that it might be- come overwhelming for some. Through 'Valyou – Your home for fresh' we are offering our customers a great shopping ex- perience with that extra value, whilst offering them products that are fresh and an experience that they can feel good about," said Raymond Mintoff, Manag- ing Director at Valyou Super- markets. "The new brand identity will give us the opportunity to dif- ferentiate ourselves through convenient customer service and great offers, food quality and va- riety to help Maltese shoppers enjoy their limited time in an at- tractive and calm atmosphere." All of these elements will be supported and brought to life with a new communications strategy and advertising cam- paign that has been developed by the Concept Stadium. "It is not every day that a client asks you to help them rethink their offer- ing. It's been thrilling to partner with one of the top supermarket chains in Malta to come up with the brand Valyou, that reso- nates well with the interior of the stores and the warm shop- ping experience we're striving to project," Jonathan Dalli, Manag- ing Director at the Concept Sta- dium, said.
