Mosta's game became difficult immediately as they were reduced to ten men midway through the first half after Njongo Priso was shown a straight red card fol- lowing an argument with a team mate. The Greens made the most of the situation and went ahead four minutes later. Mario Fontanella delivered the ball towards Ignacio Varela and the latter slotted it in- side the net. Floriana doubled the score on the 51st minute. Yenz Cini brought down Fontanella inside the penalty area and the referee pointed towards the spot. From the eleven metres mark, Sebastian Nayar made no mistake and fin- ished home. Giovanni Tedesco's side in- creased the margin of the score on the 66th minute. Maurizio Vella sent a stunning shot from dis- tance that gave Cini no chance. Floriana kept on putting pres- sure on Mosta and scored another goal on the 85th minute. Ryan Ca- menzuli went on a good run and hit a low shot that ended up inside the net.
