Baldacchino will be accompanied by pianist Irina Fedcenko- Carbonaro and clarinettist Kevin Tonna, who will perform Johannes Brahms' "Sonata in F major, Op. 120, No.2, 1st & 2nd movement" and Paul Hindemith's "Sonata, 3rd & 4th movement". Baldacchino will be performing will be performing "The last Rose of Summer", Gabriel Faure's "Chanson d'amour and Jules Massenet's "Nuit d'Espagne". The programme ensues with Franz Schubert's "Du bist die Ruh" and two arias by Edwards Grieg: Solvejgs Lied, Op. 23, No.1 and Ich Liebe Dich". She will also sing a Spanish arias by Enrique Granados "El majo discrete" and Leonard Bernstein's "Piccola Serenata". Tickets are at €8 at the door. APRIL 6 Teatru Salesjan Jazz Sessions: The Briffa/Suzuki/Bothenius Jazz Standards Trio The Briffa/Suzuki/Bothenius Jazz Standards Trio will be performing at Teatru Salesjan, Sliema at 20:30. The Trio consists of: Emiel Bothenius Lohman (piano), Hajime Suzki (upright bass), Luke Briffa (drums). On the night the trio will play a vast selection of Jazz/Latin standards and will also perform original compositions. Drinks and snacks offered at the bar. Tickets are at €8 at the door. APRIL 7 Earl Okin at Eden Cinemas Evening of jazz, bossa nova and comedy with Earl Okin at Eden Cinemas, St Julian's at 20:30. Okin has headlined under the TODAY WHAT'S ON Frawli Fest – Strawberry Festival Annual strawberry festival around the Mgarr Parish Church from 10:00. In Guardia Parade Historical re-enactment at Fort St Elmo Place, Valletta at 11:00. The re-enactment portrays the inspection of the fort and its garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St. John in charge of military affairs. During the re-enactment, of the fort's garrison - some 50 re-enactors in all, kitted-out in their uniforms perform their military drill to demonstrate to the Grand Bailiff its state of readiness.
