Featuring 12 concerts, revolving around the Austrian city of Vienna. The Festival will feature Viennese composers from different eras, as well as Viennese musicians in a programme that travels back in time to reach its climax with Beethoven's Ninth 'Choral' Symphony. MAY 12 Be-Wild Events: Magic Island + Yews Night of indie electro-pop music by German band Magic Island – launching their debut EP 'Like Water' – and supported by local act YEWS at the Floriana Bocci Club, 22:00. Entrance at the door is at €8. Organised by Be-Wild Events. MAY 13 The Areola Treat Comeback Gig Comeback gig by the fan-favourite indie rock band The Areola Treat at Razzett L-Ahmar, Mosta at 20:00. MAY 13 Heart & Soul Tribute night to Ian Curtis of Joy Division at The Funky Monkey, Gzira at 22:00. Featuring the DJ line-up of Lieutenant 030 (UK), Aidan Borg, Michael Bugeja and Joseph Felice. MAY 19 Fleshgod Apocalypse – Live in Malta Italian metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse will be performing at the Orpheum Theatre, Gzira at 19:00. EXHIBITION UNTIL MAY 17 Truth || Lies Collective and exhibition by local and international artists themed around the mutability of the truth in the current media landscape, TODAY WHAT'S ON In Guardia Parade Historical re-enactment at Fort St Elmo Place, Valletta at 11:00. The re-enactment portrays the inspection of the fort and its garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St. John in charge of military affairs. During the re-enactment, of the fort's garrison - some 50 re-enactors in all, kitted-out in their uniforms perform their military drill to demonstrate to the Grand Bailiff its state of readiness. Payment at the door. Had-Dingli Hidma Agrarja u Tradizzjoniet Agricultural festival organised by the Dingli Local Council, taking place at Buskett Gardens from 08:00 to 17:00. There will be several shows and attractions including various craftsmanship and artisan stalls, a market selling local fruits and vegetables, kids area, petting area, food stalls and sheep and goat competitions, dog show, poultry and rabbit show as well as a horse show. Żejtun Under Attack Event marking the 75th anniversary of a WWII tragedy by the Zejtun Parish Church from 09:00 onwards. The ambiance of Żejtun Square will change to war times, with various reenactments, war displays, and much more. Battle Front Living History Group and WWII Battlefields will participate in this event. Those that will be attending this event will have the opportunity to see the scars of the splinters from the bomb on the façade of the church parvis that was hurled by a Junker 88. Spring Fete Spring event organised by Flimkien ghal Ambjent Ahjar (FAA) at Mdina Bastion Historic Garden from 10:00 to 15:00. The historical Re-Enactment Group of Malta will be present in their Napoleonic period military and civilian costumes. There will be flower and cakes stalls as well as used books and bric-a-brac. Children will be entertained to the bouncing castle and to face painting, between 11:00 and 13.00, and meanwhile refreshments, home made cakes and marmalades will be available for sale. Prizes will also be raffled. This is a fundraising event to help with the preservation and the upkeep of the Msida Bastion Historic Garden. Entry is €2 for adults. This event is free of charge for children under 12. Relive the Medieval Life of Mdina Compagnia San Michele with the support of the Malta Tourisim Authority invites you to join a free interactive tour during which you can meet characters representing people who roamed the streets of Mdina during the 15th century. The tour lasts 45 minutes, starting at 10:00 from St Publius Square just past Mdina Main Gate.
