maltatoday, SUNDAY, 30 JULY 2017 X Gaming Can you describe the services provided by your company and how your business is structured? EmexGo is a dynamic Financial In- stitution holding regulatory licences in multiple jurisdictions as part of a larger group with multiple stock market list- ings. We issue customers with IBANs, process instructions on behalf of clients, provide a wide variety of swift, wire and payment services along with a large range of merchant services. Focusing on payment security, can you tell us a little about your new secure EmexGo e-Voucher service recently launched at Malta Gaming Summit (SIGMA)? As an ongoing company policy we are constantly reviewing products we offer and changes to both regulatory concerns and customer appetites in certain indus- tries and countries not traditionally rec- ognised. We identified a requirement for a secure and reliable method of payment that provides confidence and stability to both consumers and merchant service providers. Hence the launch of our voucher service which can be redeemed on 100s of online retailers' websites and/ or saved and redeemed for cash at a later stage. What is the most important thing that you reckon MaltaToday's readers should know about EmexGO? We truly believe we are the way banks should be... Are you planning to expand your network of partners and suppliers as well as enhance your services? If yes, how will you do it? We are constantly expanding our swift network of RMA relationships and cor- respondent banks; in recent months we have also begun to provide white label banking services to PSP's and other swift members giving them access to the issu- ance of IBANs and integrations with our merchant services gateway. Do you see any challenges for your business in the future? The apparent unwillingness of some larger main stream banks to give cre- dence to FinTec firms like ourselves do bring intrinsic difficulties when building banking relationships with their tradi- tional partners. The upcoming SIBOS convention in September has key note speakers from swift and SEPA and we hope that the apparent unfair restric- tions these banking giants are placing on companies such as ours will begin to evaporate… Even if slowly at first. Any other thrilling plans for the future that you want to talk about? This month we launch our own Viban creator allowing our partner companies the ability to issue virtual IBANs to their customers without being full swift mem- bers. We see this as an invaluable tool for revenue generation in the coming years. We hope that the apparent unfair restrictions these banking giants are placing on companies such as ours will begin to evaporate e way banks should be EmexGo is a dynamic financial institution holding regulatory licences in multiple jurisdictions. MaltaToday spoke to Dr Siegfried Borg Cole about the company's services, the way it operates, its innovative EmexGo e-Voucher service recently launched at SIGMA and – last but not least – the company's plans for the future.
