COMMERCIAL 14 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 24 JUNE 2018 A collection of paintings by Chev- alier Maestro Pawlu Grech are on exhibition at Casa Antonia Nursing and Residential Home, in Balzan. Entitled REST-ROSPEC- TION and curated by Amanda Tabone, the exhibition of abstract paintings ranges from Pawlu Grech's early works in the 1960s to more recent ones. Commenting on the artist, mu- sician and composer, Silvio J. Camilleri said: "Grech is one of the few Maltese artists who em- braced 20th century modernism. This characteristic is evident both in his music compositions and visual art. He can be classified among the forerunners of ab- straction in Malta as shown by his paintings produced in the early 1960s." On welcoming the guests, Casa Antonia General Manager Sarah Cassar said: "This is an extraordi- nary collection of paintings by one of our residents, Chev Maestro Pawlu Grech. We support initia- tives like this and encourage our residents to continue to partici- pate in the social and cultural life. Remaining active is important to enhance their quality of life while they enjoy the various good things this phase in life brings with it." Guests were also addressed by Balzan Mayor Ian Spiteri. Pawlu's former students, today estab- lished musicians and artists in their own right, were also present for the occasion. The exhibition was inaugurated during an Open Day held as part of Casa Antonia's 15th anniver- sary celebrations. Potential clients had the opportunity to visit the home, meet the dedicated caring team, and enjoy the beautiful am- biance of the home and entertain- ing activities. REST-ROSPECTION is open for public viewing till 7th July 2018 at Casa Antonia, Pope Al- exander VII Junction, Balzan, be- tween 10am and 7pm. Casa Antonia brings to life Pawlu Grech's abstract paintings Silvio J Camilleri, Sarah Cassar, Pawlu Grech, Ian Spiteri, Amanda Tabone and Edward Vella Chanel Rouge Coco lip blush THE ultimate addition to the Rouge Coco range, Rouge Co- co Lip Blush is a new HD burst of colour and hydration for lips and cheeks. Its soft and silky gel formula melts onto lips and cheekbones to infuse them with a natural veil of pigments. It leaves a ca- ress of colour so fine, soft and supple that you will forget it is even there. The Rouge Coco signature, the Hydraboost complex en- sures a light and comfortable texture. It is composed of veg- etable oils (jojoba, mimosa, sunflower) to moisturise and nourish the skin, an emollient coconut derivative to soften the lips and improve com- fort, and a trace peptide for a plumping effect. Captured in a gel, all of these elements become one with the skin. Then, the oils that the skin doesn't need evaporate. You won't see the magic at work; but simply experience- instantly moisturised lips and cheeks, tinged with a wash of colour with a luminous matte finish. One stroke with the flat part of the applicator enhances the curve of the lips, while the tip sculpts their contours. Hydrat- ed, the lips are soft and smooth, coated in radiant color. On cheekbones, one touch of gel reveals the colour, while three dots bring out its intensi- ty. Simply pat the gel with fin- gertips to blend it into the skin. Radiance dazzles, as if shining from within. Cheeks are beau- tifully tinted for a healthy glow effect.
