The purpose of the event - besides promoting dona- tions to Puttinu Cares - was for chidren currently undergoing treatment at Mater Dei Hospital to ride in the prestigious vehicles. 36 children benefited from this unique expe- rience and thanks to a number of sponsors were also given some gifts. The drive took them through Mrieħel, Attard, Mgarr, Għajn Tuffieha, St Paul's Bay and ended at the National Aquarium in Qawra. Here Porsche owners and drivers took time to meet and greet the children's families, who were the special guests of the owners and staff at the National Aquarium that treated them with a tour of the aquarium. Andrew Spiteri, presi- dent of Porsche Club Malta, said this was the second year that the club organised such an event.
