This series invites viewers into the singer's kitchen as she showcases her family-inspired recipes and food traditions. While preparing her recipes, Yearwood shares nostalgic stories and is visited by family and friends. Whether she's preparing traditional dishes from her childhood or planning events like a baby shower or a family reunion, Yearwood prepares dishes that viewers can duplicate in their own kitchens. MONDAY Contact [Documentary] 9pm on Discovery Science (Channel 402) There is one enduring mystery that has fascinated humankind for centuries: is there life beyond planet earth? This strand of programmes is dedicated to the fascinating investigations into the potential existence of aliens. In Contact, an international task force led by the United States seeks to find out if extra-terres- trials have made contact without us realising it. They use CIA analysis software to comprehen- sively sift through every reported UFO sighting, every declassi- fied file, and every other piece of evidence from 24 different countries, looking for patterns of behaviour that could provide a definitive answer. TUESDAY Chicago Fire S5 Ep.12 [Drama Series] 9pm on Melita More Following the last call, 51 is put on high alert when the criminal escapes and returns to kill Casey and target 51, the CPD steps in to find and capture him. Meanwhile, Brett's and Antonio's relationship hits a low when Antonio's ex-wife steps in which prompts Brett to question if Antonio is ready to be in a relationship. Also, Casey considers giving the engagement ring to Dawson as a present and a friend of Severide's dad comes to 51 and shadows him. WEDNESDAY Cube Zero (2004) [Film] 8.35pm pn AMC Channel (Channel 315) Writer/director Ernie Barbarash helms this prequel to the sci-fi thriller Cube, with events that unfold some time prior to those in first picture. Here, another group of prisoners navigate the treacherous confines of their futuristic trappings. Each step is potentially the last as the deadly last traps hidden in the sparse rooms find the numbers of the unwilling prisoners quickly thinning. Only when they can figure out the mysteries of their constantly changing prison will the surviving inmates have any hope for escape, and even then there is no guarantee of freedom – much less survival. THURSDAY Freejack (1994) [Film] 9.25pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Early in the 21st century, tech- nological advances have made it possible for aging, wealthy peo- ple to pay crooks like Vacendak (Mick Jagger) to go back in time, kidnap young victims like race car driver Alex Furlong (Emilio Estevez) and deliver them to the elderly clients, who then have their brains transplanted into the healthy bodies. Furlong manages to break free from his captors, but as a fugitive, he finds that the world of the future is a bleak, dangerous place. FRIDAY Revelation: The End of Days [Documentary] 10pm on History (Channel 412) What if the apocalyptic prophe- cies of the Book of Revelation were to unfold today? That's the terrifying question posed in this thrilling new film. When the Wailing Wall comes down in a series of bomb attacks that rock Jerusalem, the event kick-starts seven years of torment that test the limits of mankind. Monster storms ravage the coasts, a horrible virus kills millions, and children mysteriously vanish into thin air. SATURDAY Kids BBQ Championship [Culinary Show] 7pm on Food Network (Channel 353) Four youngsters enter the outdoor kitchen each week to try their hands at two challenges, which involve preparing barbecue favourites like baby back ribs, bison, and pork and beans. Their dishes are critiqued by guest judges who are among the biggest names in the world of barbecue. The young cook who emerges victorious walks away from the grill with a $10,000 prize.
