BRITISH-BORN artist Jeni
Caruana has lived in Malta
since the mid-1970s, becom-
ing a prominent figure in the
local arts scene. Since the
early 1990s, she has exhib-
ited extensively in solo and
group shows, representing
Malta internationally while
continually evolving her ar-
tistic practice in pursuit of
deeper expression.
Trained at Hull and Har-
row Art Colleges, Jeni is an
accomplished draughtswom-
an whose work spans land-
scapes, figures, architecture
and musicians. Alongside
her own practice, she has
inspired countless students
through classes that combine
strong drawing foundations
with creative exploration.
Renowned for painting live
at music and dance perfor-
mances, including the Malta
Arts Festival and Malta Jazz
Festival, Jeni captures the
energy and rhythm of perfor-
mance in vibrant, expressive
works.

music and instruments melt-
ing into one expression of
vibrating sound." This spirit
of discovery and connection
continues to define her work
across diverse subjects and
