The compilation celebrates the diversity, quality and iden- tity of Maltese music through a selection of songs which have made their mark across local festivals, song contests and dig- ital platforms in recent years. Maltese Hits Vol. III features winning entries from some of Malta's most prestigious mu- sic festivals, including Laura Bruno's Għażiża, winner of L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2024; Rita Pace's Narakom L-Infern, win- ner of L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2025; Martina Fenech's Ħajjitna, win- ner of the Konkors Kanzunet- ta Indipendenza 2025; as well as Maxine's Mhux tal-Aħħar, Gianluca Bezzina's Sabiħa and Jamie Cardona's Stajna Kon- na Aħna, winners of Mużika Mużika in 2024, 2023 and 2025 respectively.
