V This week maltatoday, Sunday, 22 March 2015 Holidays: 09:30 - 15:30. MARCH 27-APRIL 3 Ibqghu fl-Imhabba Tieghi Exhibition featuring a representation of the Last Supper and a display of Good Friday statues at the main square opposite Dingli Parish Church. The main highlight of this exhibition will be the painting that is held at Maria Maddelena Chapel of Dingli cliffs and which recently has been restored after a lightning strike caused damage to the chapel and painting in particular. This painting was completed in 2005 by the Gozitan artist Paul Camilleri Cauchi who was also responsible for its restoration. UNTIL APRIL 5 The Overlooked Performance Photography exhibition by Alex Attard at St James Cavalier, Valletta, presenting itself as a showcase of the ephemeral art beneath the face of Renzo Piano's new Parliament for Valletta. The Overlooked Performance exhibition is both an artistic expression and a document to the skin beneath the face of an historic architectural intervention and to the temporality of man at his workplace. The exhibition is curated by Vince Briffa. UNTIL MAY 1 The Roman Inquisition in Malta Exhibition at the Inquisitor's Palace, Birgu. The exhibition narrates the multifaceted role of the Inquisitor as supreme judge of the Holy Inquisition and Apostolic Delegate representative of the Papacy. It offers a unique and unprecedented opportunity to get to terms with stories of witchcraft, magical spells, theft and profanation of the sacred and a myriad of other curious episodes from the past.
