Pedrosa has suffered from arm pump issues since 2014 and af- ter surgery over the winter, the Spaniard had hoped to be fully fit for the 2015 season. But the problems arose at the Qatar Grand Prix, after which Pedrosa opted to undergo fur- ther surgery, missing round in the United States, Argentina and at Jerez. "My recovery has gone well, I think I was right to be pa- tient and take it slowly, and to respect the time frames that I needed," Pedrosa wrote on his Repsol blog. "Now, finally, I can tell you that I will be in Le Mans this week- end. The truth is that I'm really keen to get back on my motor- bike, as I'm sure you can guess. "It's not just about that, though. I'm also excited to get back to my team to work side by side with them again." Dani Pedrosa Red Bull relying on Audi entry RED Bull motorsport consultant Helmut Marko says that the squad's future in Formula 1 is reliant on the Volswagen Group entering the sport. Red Bull has endured a difficult start to the 2015 season and the outfit has issued threats to with- draw from the sport if it is unable to be competitive. Marko now says that the future of the Milton Keynes-based outfit hinges on whether Audi - which has enjoyed success in the World En- durance Championship - is willing to enter Formula 1. "If we don't have a competitive engine in the near future, then ei- ther Audi is coming or we are out," Marko told BBC Sport. "There are so many rumours. Officially there was no request or talks. The VW Group first has to sort out who will be the new chief of support, who will run the brand of VW, and when they have sorted all these things maybe then they can think about what they are doing in motorsport. "I was on the phone but not to the people you think." Rumours of Audi's potential par- ticipation in Formula 1 have grown over recent weeks following the ousting of VW Group Chairman Ferdinand Piech. Audi has always dismissed thoughts of entering Formula 1, but Chairman Rupert Sadler told Auto Express that the company is looking at the sport, though downplayed the speculation. "It's something we're looking at, but then we're always looking at it and many other things," he said. "But I can't say yes or no."
