42 Events maltatoday, SUNDAY, 14 AUGUST 2016 KTM factory training for Fapi Motors One of Fapi Motors' motorcycle mechanics, Ryan Micallef, has at- tended a week-long training ses- sion at the KTM premises in Aus- tria. This training course takes place once a year and is an oppor- tunity for international branches of the brand to learn about the latest updates of their range of products. Representatives were briefed with the changes that KTM are implementing in their motorbikes and how to navigate through them in cases where re- pairs or technical updates are needed. The training course was spread out across five days; the first two days consisted of members famil- iarising themselves with the most recent updates, followed by three days of hands-on experience. Em- ployees got the chance to work with the new ABS systems and transport locks, dealernet and other diagnostic functions across four KTM motorbike models. "What we have learned on the course is not something that you can learn from anywhere else. It was a great experience where a group of people working for KTM got the chance to meet each other and share experiences. It is defi- nitely something I would want to do again in the future," was the feedback that Ryan Micallef pro- vided. Fapi Motors are the official distributors of the KTM brand in Malta.
