MONDAY Mission Declassified [Travel/Adventure] 10pm on Travel Channel (Channel 410) For over 20 years, investigative journalist Christof Putzel has uncovered major stories that powerful people have wanted to keep hidden. He's exposed illegal weapons smuggling, child labour camps and much more. Now, in this fascinating series, he sets his sights on some notorious cases that were never solved. Using declassified government files and his own investigative skills, he aims to shed light on some of the biggest mysteries around. What was the real identity of legendary airplane hijacker D.B. Cooper? And, who was responsible for the famous theft of hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of fine art from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston? TUESDAY Dominick and Eugene (1988) [Film] 9.35pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Two brothers – Eugene (Ray Liotta), an ambitious medical student, and Nicky (Tom Hulce), a mentally challenged garbage worker – live together, with Eugene looking after Nicky. But their relationship is strained when Eugene's medical career, and his relationship with nurse Jennifer (Jamie Lee Curtis), force him to consider separating from his brother. When Nicky intervenes in a child-abuse situation on behalf of a neighbourhood boy, the resulting trouble with the law may tip Eugene's decision. WEDNESDAY Wednesday Movie: "How Do You Know" (2010) [Romantic Drama] 9pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Lisa Jorgenson's (Reese Witherspoon) entire life has been defined by softball, but at 31, she is deemed too old to play and cut from the team. After being cast adrift, she begins a fling with Matty (Owen Wilson), a charming womanizer who plays professional baseball. About the same time, she goes on a blind date with George (Paul Rudd), a businessman on the hook for stock fraud. Caught in a romantic triangle with the two men, Lisa ponders the meaning of love. THURSDAY Drugstore Cowboy (1989) [Film] 9.35pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Bob Hughes (Matt Dillon) is the leader of a "family" of drug addicts consisting of his wife, Dianne (Kelly Lynch), and another couple who feed their habit by robbing drug stores as they travel across the country. After a tragedy befalls a member of his group, Bob decides he must leave his dysfunctional clan and go straight. Parting ways with his junkie past proves more difficult than expected when Bob is stalked by an old acquaintance looking to score drugs at any price. FRIDAY Masters of Disaster [Documentary] 8pm on Discovery Channel (Channel 400) These days, pretty much everyone is heavily dependent on modern technology. From mobile phones to food processors, every aspect of day- to-day life is catered for with a high-tech gadget that most of us take for granted. But, in the event of Doomsday, what would happen if all this technology we rely upon is gone? A group of innovative engineers and workmen in Chattanooga, Tennesse, led by mechanic and survivalist Beau Boruff are not taking any chances. In this series, these guys source vintage pieces, restore them to full working order and sell them to grateful Doomsday preppers, hopefully making a tidy profit in the process. SATURDAY Pineapple Express (2008) [Film] 10.25pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Stoner Dale Denton's (Seth Rogen) enjoyment of a rare strain of marijuana may prove fatal when he drops his roach in a panic af ter witnessing a murder. Upon learning that the fancy weed can be traced back to them, Dale and his dealer (James Franco) go on the lam, with a dangerous drug lord (Gar y Cole) and crooked cop (Rosie Perez) hot on their heels.
