Valletta's 1-1 draw at home against Dudelange, meant they now face Hungarian side Ferencvaros in the sec- ond stage of the Champions League qualifying rounds. In their game against Croa- tian football giants Hajduk Split, Gzira United's Hamed Kone sent a curling drive that flew into the top corner, send- ing the maroons to the next round. They now face Latvian side FK Ventspils. The Maltese champions be- gin their second-round duties tonight as they face off against their Hungarian counterparts away from home. The second-round will be played in Malta on the 30th July.
