OCTOBER 10, 11; 15-17 The Hate Politik Experimental performance at St James Cavalier, Valletta at 20:00. 'The politics of hatred are not the domain of politicians or parliament. They are the opinions and attitudes we have towards those we often know little about and consequently fear. This reality is at the core of this highly theatrical production, where the concept of fear, difference and power is explored.' The first part, titled Purgatorio, is a revisitation of Act II of Naupaca Dance Factory's DIVI- NA, a contemporary dance adapta- tion of Dante Alighieri's epic poem La Divina Commedia, directed by Joeline Tabone. The second part, titled Non Solo Carmen: Donne Vit- time dell' Amore, explores themes of love, violence and womanhood.
