Distributors and book sellers will exhibit and sell their wares, and the National Book Council will also be organising and hosting a number of events featuring both local and international authors. Among this year's events will be the premiere of a film adaptation of Walid Nabhan's short story 'Il- Komplici', as well as a conference on Literature and Totalitarianism. MISCELLANEOUS EVENTS OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 1 Popeye Halloween Haunted Village Five-day Halloween event at Popeye Village, Mellieha from 19:00 to 23:00. OCTOBER 30 Manikata Pumpkin Fest The 9th edition of the Pumpkin Feast in Manikata will be taking place between 10:00 and 17:00. This year, as with every edition, a large selection of food items will be on sale with one common ingredient, the pumpkin. Also featuring Halloween-related initiatives and live entertainment. This event is being organised by Koperattiva Rurali Manikata with the support of Mellieha Local Council and the Parish Pastoral Council of Manikata.
