JANUARY 13 I'm Not Okay (I Promise) xXx Nostalgic music night dedicated to emo at Maori, Valletta from 21:00. Featuring DJs I.YOU and MALLA. Entrance is free. JANUARY 14 Bass Culture x Island Rockers present Indica Dubs (UK) Dub music event at Tigullio, St Julian's at 22:00. Featuring local acts Bass Culture and Island Rockers, along with acclaimed UK producer and performer Indica Dubs. Organised by Island Rockers Sound System. EXHIBITION JANUARY 7-FEBRUARY 5 What Comes After the 1 Minute of Silence? Exhibition held at Spazju Kreattiv, St James Cavalier, Valletta presented by Fabrizio Ellul and dealing with the consequences of terrorism on communities in Europe. The exhibition is divided into three parts: an installation of digital drawings, a video installation, and a panel discussion. The panel discussion will be held on January 25 and is being moderated by Mark Micallef. An artist talk on February 3 will conclude the project in which the artist, Fabrizio Ellul, discusses potential future projects based on the theme of European communities. The exhibition is curated by Matthew Attard. THEATRE UNTIL JANUARY 8 Un-Believe It! MADC Christmas Panto written by and featuring Alan Montanaro as Dame, and taking place at MFCC, Ta' Qali at 20:00, with matinee performances also held on January 7 and 8 at 15:00. UNTIL JANUARY 8 Puss in Boots: A Traditional Christmas Pantomime The Masquerade Theatre Company is back with its annual Christmas panto at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 15:00 and 20:00. Written by Malcolm Galea, who will also be making a return in the role of dame following 2014's Auntie Patka, the show will be directed by Anthony Bezzina with musical direction in the hands of Kris Spiteri while Elena Zammit will be in charge of choreography. The cast also includes Stephen Oliver, Joseph Zammit, Tina Rizzo, Anton Saliba, Analise Cassar, Joe Depasquale, and Katherine Brown in the title role.
