In "Divine Secrets", Morgan seeks to find out why secrecy and religion are often intertwined; he explores a villa in Pompeii that housed the secret cult of Dionysus; he heads to Nepalese mountains, where Buddhist monks have secret mantras just for select groups. In "Visions of God", Morgan Freeman explores the mysteries of divine visions; he meets a woman who believes she was cured of paralysis by miraculous waters and an Anishinaabe man who endured days alone in the wilderness for the sake of divine vision.
