To mark this occasion, apart from the setting up of the new 24/7 GP Assistance and having a great staff team building event, it was important to review the Malta product line to ensure that the Malta AXA PPP healthcare customer continues to benefit from the most updated benefits and conditions that the AXA Group can offer. A major product review had just been completed and from this month, new policies and re- newals of members on standard plans will benefit from major changes including higher overall policy limits and simplified doc- umentation with claims guides. Daycare cash benefits have also been introduced and minor sur- gery by family doctors has also been made more accessible with limits per episode introduced across all plans. Health at hand, a service providing immediate 24/7 international phone access to health clinics and counsellors, has been included on clinic plan cover where this was previously only available to international and hospital plan members. AXA PPP healthcare Inter- national plan members have a major innovation in their plans which will now allow them unique access to elective cover for treatment in Canada as a standard benefit whereas before policyholders had cover in USA and Canada available only for treatment on a non-elective or emergency basis and limited to €75,000 per year. The AXA PPP healthcare range of plans continues to offer wider cover to its policyholders includ- ing cover for congenital condi- tions which are covered up to €250,000. Cover has been wid- ened further to cover AIDS with- in the terms and conditions of a standard health plan, scuba div- ing cover up to 40m and even war risks unless members are actively participating in such events. Catherine Calleja, Managing Director of Atlas Healthcare In- surance Agency pointed out that 'The AXA PPP healthcare Malta plan review ensures that we con- tinue to offer 'top of the range' cover in Malta for discerning policyholders who trust the At- las Group to give the best pos- sible cover with an international network of providers and inter- national service levels.' GO begins testing its 4G network GO has started testing its new fully fibre con- nected 4G network ahead of its commer- cial launch later this year. GO's 4G network will provide unparal- leled mobile internet speeds and open up a range of exciting op- portunities for cus- tomers in areas such as mobile HD TV. Upon launch, initial achiev- able maximum download speeds on the network will be several times faster than those available on 3G. These speeds have already been consistently recorded during the current tests. GO's 4G network will be the only one in Malta which is fully fibre connected. This will make the network much more resil- ient, particularly in bad weath- er, and will deliver the high- est possible speeds. The fibre connection also future proofs the network, allowing it to be scaled up seamlessly when the demand arises. In the build up to the launch of 4G, GO recently simplified its limitless plans to ensure customers retain control of their mobile data expenditure once 4G speeds become avail- able. These changes include a €50 monthly cap on data usage, with the option to continue us- ing mobile internet by simply sending an SMS. GO's 4G network is being sup- plied by Nokia Networks using the energy-efficient and com- pact Nokia Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Station for next-generation mobile broadband networks. "Since my early days in the kitchen De Cecco always helped my dishes reach excellence," Sean Gravina said.
