APRIL 6-8 Urban Wonderland Tales Photography workshop for children by Futura Tittaferrante at St James Cavalier, Valletta from 10:00 to 13:00. Urban Wonderland Tales is a nine-hour photography workshop to be held over 3 days, during the Easter holidays 2015 for children and their parents. This workshop will be guided by Futura Tittaferrante (www.videodilatte.com) with the help of the St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity team. Fee is €100 for two parents and two children or €50 for a one-parent and one-child family. Any extra adult at €34 and any extra child at €17. APRIL 10-MAY 3 I Know I Don't Photography exhibition by Giola Cassar at St James Cavalier, Valletta. I Know I Don't is an exhibition that explores personal identity and the idiosyncratic things that make a person unique and identifiable to others. UNTIL MAY 1 The Roman Inquisition in Malta Exhibition at the Inquisitor's Palace, Birgu. The exhibition narrates the multifaceted role of the Inquisitor as supreme judge of the Holy Inquisition and Apostolic Delegate representative of the Papacy. It offers a unique and unprecedented opportunity to get to terms with stories of witchcraft, magical spells, theft and profanation of the sacred and a myriad of other curious episodes from the past. PUBLIC LECTURE APRIL 16 Bankrolling the Renaissance Public lecture by Douglas Skreggs on the Medici Family at Le Meridien, St Julian's at 18:30. Skeggs read Fine Art at Magdalene College Cambridge and has been a lecturer on paintings since 1980. In that time he has given over 4,000 lectures to universities, colleges and art societies. He was the director of 'The New Academy of Art Studies' for three years and is presently a regular lecturer at 'The Study Centre', 'Christie's' course 'The History of Art Studies' and other London courses.
