maltatoday, SUNDAY, 21 FEBRUARY 2016 Motoring V CEO for Continental Cars Maurice Mizzi launched the new Porsche 911 last month, the latest evolution of a vehicle that has become a motoring icon. "When Porsche launched the first 911 more than 50 years ago, the car was an instant success. Its simple but purposeful lines and engaging performance immedi- ately caught the imagination of a whole generation of sports car enthusiasts and remains to this day, one of most desirable sports cars in production," he said. For Porsche, it has never been just about extra horsepower but about packing in more ideas per hp. Design that follows princi- ples, not fashion. Sports cars you can drive every day. "When all these factors align, we call it Intelligence Perfor- mance, the core of the Porsche brand and its future. That is what we fight for. Every day like the first. For a dream that will always make hearts beat faster." The latest version of the 911 is not only attractive but it contains a host of new features primarily aimed at enhancing the 911 driv- ing experience, while meeting current environmental stand- ards. The new 911 boasts new en- gines with lower emissions and greater performance than its predecessors due to the new su- per efficient turbo. Its improved chassis design ensures phenomenal road hold- ing and handling while a revised infotainment system with addi- tional features makes sure that driver and passenger alike can keep in touch with everything happening around them at the touch of a button. Continental Cars gives great importance to servicing Porsche cars and it is for this reason that technicians are continually being trained in Germany. New Porsche 911 launched
