maltatoday, SUNDAY, 28 MAY 2017 VI Gaming Can you give us a brief rundown on Kiron Interactive? Kiron Interactive was a pioneer in the virtual sports industry, hav- ing developed a range of virtual sports betting and skill games for online and retail deployment. Our market-leading titles offer striking HD graphics, crystal clear sounds, and engaging, extensive betting markets. Our 19-title catalogue, the largest and most varied on the market, offers operators a profit- able virtual sport and number games solution, all of which can be integrated into an operator's existing sports betting system, or via our turnkey BetMan bet management platform. What makes you different from the rest of the market? By offering such a varied portfolio, Kiron is able to attract a wide range of operators and players. With sports including horse racing, dog racing, foot- ball and even speed skating, we are able to target users that are looking for something different to what they usually see. Our best-in-class graphics, which are delivered as real-time plays rather than pre-recorded events, ensure players are continuously engaged. Also operators can offer a tailored product which is relevant to their players and grows revenues. 'Casino Life & Business Magazine' presented you with the award of 'The Best Online Content Provider'. What does this achievement signify for you? Kiron enjoyed a frantically busy and successful 2016, so this award is the recognition every- body in the team deserves after a year of hard work, perseverance, and ultimately, progression. We were honoured to be named The Best Online Content Provider by Casino Life & Business Maga- zine and are sure we can use this award as a catalyst to make 2017 even more successful, as we look to push the boundaries of virtuals games once again. How do you tailor your products for different markets? Our cutting-edge technology al- lows us to localise our offerings to suit the market in question. Rath- er than releasing the same titles to every market, we put time, money and a lot of effort into researching what sports variants and games are popular in each territory. That localised offering, combined with the profitably and reliability of our product, helps us stay one step ahead of our competition. Any upcoming products in the pipeline? Yes we have a number of new products we will be launching during the current year and will be announcing these closer to the time. Kiron is always looking for ways to improve on our current product range as well as adding new ones. Tailoring our content to newly-regulated markets is key for our business in 2017 and the years to come, so we are focusing on innovation in these areas, while also ensuring we increase our of- fering to current clients. Following your recent expansions, how do you see your business developing in the next few years? More and more opportuni- ties are arising for providers and operators as newly-regulated markets open around the world. It's our job to ensure we are ready to act quickly and professionally when these opportunities come along, as we have done across Africa and in Romania already this year. To do this we need to do our research and ensure we are well versed in what both operators and users want on a market-by-market basis. There's no point jumping in expecting the same product to be popular around the world. Adapt- ing to new technologies will also remain key. The growth of mobile in recent years has been nothing short of spectacular, but there is still huge potential to further grow in the channel yet. Kiron needs to ensure it continues to offer a range of varied titles so we can meet increased omni-channel requirements of operators. Like advances in mobile, new and improved CGI technologies will allow for enhanced graphics on our products, ensuring a greater sense of realism and therefore offering a more immersive experi- ence. We already offer a range of betting markets on sports such as football, dog racing and horse rac- ing, but will continue to use these advances in technology to bolster both our current offering and new games, while also adding more betting markets as we look to stay ahead of the competition. How a pioneer in the virtual sports industry stays ahead of the game MaltaToday speaks to Steven Spartinos, co-founder and co-CEO of virtual games provider Kiron Interactive about how the company manages to stand out in a crowd of competitors. Our cutting- edge technology allows us to localise our offerings to suit the market in question
