maltatoday, SUNDAY, 10 APRIL 2016 Shipping VII Sullivan Shipping announce expansion of Hanjin services SULLIVAN Shipping Agencies Ltd, the commercial and shipping agent for Hanjin Shipping is pleased to announce that Hanjin will be expanding their services into Malta in the second quarter of 2016. Through these new services Hanjin will, once again, be linking Malta to the main ports in Asia and the Mediterranean, with weekly direct connections. Hanjin Shipping has established a strong reputation for quality amongst our customers. In shipping services, qual- ity is achieved through the line's ability to shorten transit times, maintain fixed schedules and provide the all-important, cost effective solution. Hanjin is committed to delivering on these qualities. These services will be solely operated by Hanjin Shipping, giving them full control over every aspect and de- cision pertaining to the service. Hanjin are investing considerably in these new Asia to Mediterranean services via Malta and this further demonstrates their plans to use Malta as their central Mediterranean hub. For Sullivan Shipping Agencies ltd, these new services will add more shipping options to our existing portfolio of Logistic services, in particular those covering the Far East and Mediterranean. We have established an important market share of the domestic freight business through the various logistic solutions we offer, placing ourselves as a leading multimodal trans- port provider. Being multimodal, means that we can truly offer 360° solutions on all transport modes (Sea, Air and Land) for full loads and groupage cargo and thus provide a one stop shop solution for all logistic requirements in Malta. Transit time A key benefit of these new services will be improved transit times. Transit time from Shanghai to Malta will be 22 days & 11 Days direct from Indian port Mundra to Malta. Hanjin will also be offering excellent transit times from Spanish ports & Italian ports in particular Genoa with a transit time of 2 days on the HPM Service. Rotation The rotation starting from the first week in April 2016 for the three services are as follows: HPM (Far East & Mediterranean Ser- vice): Busan – Kwangyang – Ningbo – Shanghai – Yantian- Singapore – Jeddah – Port said – Malta – La Spezia – Valencia – Barcelona – Genoa – Malta – Jed- dah – Singapore – Yantian – Shanghai – Kwangyang – Busan – Long Beach – Oakland – Busan IME (Middle east/India Service): Khor Fakkan – Jebel Ali – Bin Qasim – Mundra- Nhava Sheva – Jeddah – Port Said(E) – La Spezia – Genoa – Fos – Barcelona – Valencia – Tangier – Genoa – Malta – Port Said(W) – Jeddah – Khor Fakkan MEN (East Coast USA Service): Livorno – La Spezia – Genoa – Fos – Barcelona – Valencia – New York – Norfolk – Savan- nah -Miami – Algeciras – Valencia – Malta – Livorno Other services will also include South Italy Feeder as well as Adriatic Feeder to Malta connecting Venice, Koper, Raven- na, Ancona & Naples.
