Legal Senior Professional Officer Permit no. 217/2019 Qualifications & Experience • MQF level 6 in Law; • A minimum of 2 years work experience in a legal office. Job Description • Provide efficient support to the Chief Officer Legal & the Chief Executive Officer on all matters related to the different units; • Translate policies into strategic plans for implementation; • Update leaflets & website information to reflect legislation changes; • Assist various units on legal issues & assess legal documents to ensure the Agency's legal protection; • Be fully conversant with Acts pertaining to the assigned unit & oversee their implementation; • Make sure that all legal formalities & other obligations related to the unit are fulfilled in time; • Make sure that high level secrecy & privacy of all legal data is maintained; • Carry out any other duties directed by the Chief Officer Legal or Chief Executive Officer. Unit Senior Manager Permit no. 516/2019 Qualifications & Experience • MQF level 7 & 1 year relevant work experience in a managerial position; OR • MQF level 6 & a minimum of 3 years work experience in a managerial position. Job Description • Ensure the smooth running of the assigned unit; • Coordinate functions pertaining to HR, Finance & Administration as well as Operations within the unit; • Prepare yearly financial estimates & ensure that expenditure is kept within budget; • Devise business plans undertaken by the unit in accordance to the set policies; • Derive unit policy manuals & service quality procedures; • Develop HR plans & drive staff in achieving organisational goals; • Actively collaborate with other Senior Managers in the development of an overall strategic plan for the Agency; • Carry out any other duties directed by the Chief Executive Officer. Job Description • Implement & oversee IT networks security policy as well as devise plans to mitigate network security threats; • Responsible for the availability, integrity, & confidentiality of all the organization's information systems in compliance with the agency's information security policy & procedures; • Design enhancement for internal controls, including production change management, compliance, network security, incident handling, risk assessment as well as transmission integrity; • Manage, support & optimize all IT networks & security infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, PBX, tele- com & information security devices; • Manage vulnerability - scanning, co-ordination with external vendor conducting tests, penetration testing & co-ordinate all remediation as well as prioritization activities; • Monitor performance & service levels; • Conduct regular Information Security Risk Assessments & provide recommendations; • Adhere to the Certificate authority polices, practice statements & EU regulations, & perform interoperability testing with EU Member States; • Preparation of tender document requirements & specifications; • Carry out any other duties directed by the Chief Executive Officer. Job Description • Support & assist the Chief Officer or Head of Unit in achieving the unit's goals & objectives; • Ensure the proper day to day running of the unit; • Assist in the unit's functions pertaining to HR, Finance & Administration, & Operations; • Facilitate the implementation of policies & give advice on areas of improvement; • Assist in the drawing up of reports & gathering of statistical data; • Provide a timely and effective response to any queries directed to the unit; • Assist the Chief Officer or Head of Unit in developing a customer-oriented culture; • Carry out any other duties directed by the Chief Executive Officer.
