Senior Manager Permit no. 516/2019 & 733/2019 Qualifications & Experience • MQF level 7 & 1 year relevant work experience in a managerial position; OR • MQF level 6 & a minimum of 3 years work experience in a managerial position. Main Duties & Responsibilities • Ensure the smooth running of the assigned unit; • Coordinate functions pertaining to HR, Finance & Administration as well as Operations within the unit; • Prepare yearly financial estimates & ensure that expenditure is kept within budget; • Devise business plans undertaken by the unit in accordance to the set policies; • Derive unit policy manuals & service quality procedures; • Develop HR plans & drive staff in achieving organisational goals; • Actively collaborate with other Senior Managers in the development of an overall strategic plan for the Agency; • Carry out any other duties directed by the Chief Executive Officer. Unit Coordinator Permit no. 734/2019 Qualifications & Experience • MQF level 6 Diploma in Leadership and Management or similar & 3 years experience in a managerial position; OR • MQF level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or similar & a minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial position. Main Duties & Responsibilities • Support & assist the Chief Officer or Head of Unit in achieving the unit's goals & objectives; • Ensure the proper day to day running of the unit; • Assist in the unit's functions pertaining to HR, Finance & Administration & Operations; • Facilitate the implementation of policies & give advice on areas of improvement; • Assist in the drawing up of reports & gathering of statistical data; • Provide a timely and effective response to any queries directed to the unit; • Assist the Chief Officer or Head of Unit in developing a customer-oriented culture; • Carry out any other duties directed by the Chief Executive Officer. Interested persons are kindly requested to submit a letter of application and a detailed CV to recruitment@identitymalta.com by Sunday 20th October, 2019 Administrative Officer Permit no. 657/2019 Qualifications & Experience • A recognised Level 4 qualification in management, leader- ship or administration, or similar or higher; AND • ECDL certificate is a must; Main Duties and Responsibilities • Assist and support in the administration and management of the department; • Deal with correspondence, cases and enquiries relating to the function of the Unit under the management's direction; • Assist in ensuring that policies are adhered to; • Ensure that deadlines are met and avoid backlogs; • Perform basic accounting duties, reconciliation and procurement work; • Inputting into the accounting system used by the Agency; • Local banks deposits; • Input and cross-check work performed by junior staff; • Update database; • Gather information and disseminates documents to the right channels; • Carry out any other duties directed by the CEO. Reporting Officer Permit no. 714/2019 Qualifications & Experience • A recognised Level 4 qualification in management, leader- ship or administration, or similar or higher; • ECDL certificate is a must; • Security license, which can also be achieved within the first 6 months of employment. Main Duties and Responsibilities • Oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidance and policies relevant to Identity Malta's remit; • Conduct systematic due diligence and investigations on requests submitted to the Agency, including on-site inspections as provided by law; • Evaluate and improve the efficiency of controls; • Assist the units in the implementation of policies and procedures; • Collaborate with other entities to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations; • Identify compliance issues and provide advice and guidance on high ethical standards; • Adhere to legal standards and keep abreast of regulatory developments in compliance control; • Compile statistical information and reports; • Enforce regulations in all aspects and levels of operations; • Preserve the Agency's integrity by making sure it stays on a lawful and ethical course; • Testify in court; • Execute freedom of movement interviews; • Carry out any other duties directed by the CEO.
