11 Il-Ħadd 18 ta' Diċembru 2016 | illum PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARIAT FOR THE EU PRESIDENCY 2017 AND EU FUNDS PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARIAT FOR AGRICULTURE, FISHERIES AND ANIMAL RIGHTS European Maritime and Fisheries Fund DATA COLLECTION FRAMEWORK MULTIANNUAL PROGRAMME 2014-2016 The EU's Data Collection Multi Annual Programme (DC MAP) concerns the collection of data in the fisheries sector towards the provision of scientific advice as required through the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP); Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013. The national work programme outlines the collection of biological, technical, environmental and socio- economic data. In line with the DC- MAP. Data collection is nationally carried out by means of: - Research surveys at sea -Market sampling -On-board observations -Fish age profiling -Analyses of logbooks and spatial VMS data -One to one interviews. The collected data is used to analyse the state of exploited marine resources, the state of the marine ecosystem and the socio- economic performance of the f i s h e r i e s , a q u a c u l t u r e a n d processing sectors.
